Nourishment Notes

In today’s world, our systems are constantly under pressure—from toxins, stress, and overstimulation. The liver, often called the “general of the army,” helps manage it all: hormones, fats, immune filters, and more. This dish supports that work.

Garlic has been shown to help reduce the damage caused by heavy metals and inflammation. A warm meal like this—gentle, high in protein, liver-supportive, and easy to digest—gives your body what it actually needs. It’s not flashy, but it’s incredibly effective.

We make this when we’re run-down, toxic, or simply want something real. Despite the long cook time, it’s minimal effort. The longer the garlic roasts, the longer it brews in your intention energy—so set one. We usually finish ours with a splash of Tabasco for circulation and spirit.

Cook Time: 65 mins

Serves: 2 friends

Ingredients

Cannellini Beans - 2 cans

Organic Spinach - 3 big handfuls, from your garden

Garlic, 1 head

Sea Salt, a pinch

Tabasco - (optional topping)

Method

Preheat your oven to 325°F. Slice the top off a whole garlic bulb, place it in a small Dutch oven or baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Cover and roast for 60 minutes. While that cooks, drain and rinse the beans and warm them in a skillet with olive oil and three big handfuls of fresh spinach. Let the spinach wilt fully. When the garlic is done, squeeze the soft cloves into the beans and spinach, stir gently, and taste for salt. Top with a splash of Tabasco if you’d like a little fire.
